Beautiful Mountain/Lake Retreat

Pros: The setting and most of the personnel.
Cons: Be more conscious of how a large event that takes over the entire lodge impacts the non-participating guests.
Location: Great hiking (weather permitting), amazing food (a foodies dream area for five fork restaurants), kayaking, canoeing, running et al...
Everything went well, but they held an event that closed off all the public hang out areas. We were moving rooms that day, I had gotten quite sick from some bad oysters, and instead of just directly moving us to the other room they initially left us with no where to go. We couldn't sit in the public lounge area so we went to the library and we were very rudely kicked out of there by Chrystal as well. She acted as if we were creating problems for the hotel. If you're going to have an event that takes over the whole place (a Cornucopia event), it would be very helpful to let guests know ahead of time so they can make the choice of whether they choose to stay there or not. My only remaining choice was to lie down on the couch in the reception area. These events were both humiliating and embarassing. Eventually, reception area manager did get us our room a bit early which actually helped out a lot.

Beautiful hotel in Whistler

Pros: The site is lovely, secluded and quiet in a bustling area. They provide a shuttle to the village or other destinations nearby with advance notice.
Location: You will need a hotel shuttle or car to go to most attractions. Kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and bikes are loaned to hotel guests at no cost.
We booked a studio and were very pleased with the room size and amenities. The bathroom was huge! Fireplace was a nice touch, but glass could have used some cleaning. The restaurant was booked both nights of our stay so recommend booking ahead of time if you wish to eat dinner there. We ate a lovely breakfast in the main restaurant one morning at a little outdoor table overlooking the lake and enjoyed it very much. There is also a cafe on site for a quick coffee and roll or yogurt/granola breakfast.

pictures don't do it justice

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here. Got a fantastic deal because it was off season (right after Thanksgiving). So private, room was amazing, view was incredible. This is the only place that has made me feel like staying there forever. Cannot wait to come back.

Quiet comfort

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: no free breakfast
We had a wonderful stay at Nita lake lodge.our room had a balcony overlooking Nita lake and we enjoyed coffee in the morning and cocktails in the evening on the balcony. The bath was a spa inspired experience that was wonderful. We would absolutley recommend this hotel to anyone that likes to be just a few minutes outside the hustle of the main tourists attractions. Sincerely, Debbie T

We LOVED Nita Lake Lodge!

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
It's been almost a year since our stay at Nita Lake Lodge, and my husband and I still talk about how much we enjoyed our stay! We had a room on the ground floor facing the lake. It was so quiet and peaceful. The room was very comfortable! We took advantage of the fireplace and heated bathroom floors! The tub and separate shower are enormous! The kitchenette was a nice convience, but we really enjoyed eating out at the fabulous restaurants in Whistler, so we didn't use it much. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful Hotel and Surroundings

A perfect place to stay if you want calm and serene surroundings while still being within walking distance of the village. Beautiful rooms, facilities and views. We stayed in the spring (lucky enough to have great weather) and spent most of our time walking the trails back and forth to Whistler. If you aren't fond of hiking, biking or walking, this may not be the place for you as it's a good 45-60 walk to the village. For us, this is our first choice of accomodation for the weekend getaways and we will definately be returning.

Nita Lake Lodge

I was extremely happy when we pulled up to Nita Lake lodge. The lodge was beautiful. When we got inside there was a small mix up with our room assignment but they fixed it right away with great attitudes. All the staff was unbelievably helpful. From getting us golf times to recommending restaurants, they did an amazing job. The rooms were very nice and the views were breathtaking!!!! I liked being a little bit away from The Village but still close enough to walk or ride a bike if you can handle the hills. Plenty of shopping and food right around us. This is one of my favorite places to go now. I will definitely return for another visit. Next time I'm bringing some friends to enjoy the experience.

Terrific Hotel

Great hotel with large well equipped rooms. Our room had a gas fireplace, flat panel TV, soaking tub and separate shower plus a view of Nita Lake. Hotel runs a shuttle to Whistler Creekside gondola, which is only about 3 city blocks, from hotel. Hotel has a private locker room at Creekside right below the ski equipment rental location so it was very convenient. Plus the gongola at Creekside is far more comfortable and less crowded than the gondola at Whistler Village. Hotel staff was very helpful on suggesting dining options. Would highly recommend this relatively new lodge and look forward to visiting again.
