Met our needs with two kids under 5 years old

Pros: Location, minifridge/microwave.
Location: Close proximity to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain; easy drive to Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver.
Overall, this place met our needs with two young children under the age of 5. We requested a room with a mini-fridge and microwave, mainly for our kids' needs, and the staff was able to fulfill our request with no problems. Having the complimentary breakfasts in the mornings was a great way for us to start off our day. The location of this place was great. From what we learned from the staff, there's a free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge within walking distance from the hotel, which we didn't have time to do, but would plan to for our next visit. The hotel is easy access to main roads and the drive into Stanley Park and downtown Vancouver are easy (if driving). There's also a nice outdoor pool, which, we unfortunately didn't have time to visit.

Perfect location

This hotel was perfectly located for those of us who want to be close to downtown Vancouver and close to nature as well. A short stroll to the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and a short bus ride to the Seabus at Lonsdale Quay.

Hotel is ok for the price and location

Pros: Closeness to major tourist attractions
Cons: Room cleanliness
Location: Close to Stanley Park, Vancouver Harbor and so many other tourist attractions.
This hotel is ok if you are looking for somewhere close to downtown Vancouver that is not expensive. I tis 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Stanley park and other cool attractions. Breakfast was just there as well as the room cleanliness. My room was vacuumed only once throughout my 1 week stay.

Housekeeping refused to clean the room?

Staff was polite at check-in and check-out. My family was even allowed to check-in 2.5 hours early, nice! Breakfast was decent, good start to the day. Room was adequately furnished and beds and pillows were comfortable. The parking lot was a bit noisy in the morning but we were on the first floor, probably would have been better on the second floor. Where things went terribly wrong was when housekeeping refused to clean our room. We went to the aquarium in the morning and did not return until 16:30. We realized our room had been entered to remove dirty towels but the bed was not fixed, garbage not removed, used glasses not replaced, etc. We called the front desk who said someone would come to our room. A kind woman did come by to reassure us that we had not been forgotten but they were running behind. An hour later two housekeeping staff came by just to tell us that they would not clean our room since we were in there. At that point we were getting ready to leave again but housekeeping still refused to clean our room. After trying unsuccessfully to understand the reason why we gave up and just asked for clean towels. We ended up taking out our own trash as housekeeping staff just watched.
