Thank you for your follow-up regarding the transaction of $50CAD minimum per night reflected on your credit card statement. The amount you see is not a charge but an authorization. As stated on the registration card signed at check-in, our system is setup to automatically authorize (hold) an incidental fee of $50CAD minimum per night, above and beyond the estimated total cost of your guestroom charges inclusive of taxes, in the case of extra charges such as room service, restaurant or bar charges, phone calls, et al being signed to your guestroom during your stay. This protocol is a standard practice of most resorts, hotels and lodgings worldwide. Please note this authorization takes 7-10 business days after your departure date to automatically remove itself from your credit card.
