i added a room through the hotel for an extra night. i was given 4 rooms (literally given 4 room keys and told to go check) by the 3rd room key i walked back to the front desk and told them they should probably check the rooms before i do. before we found a room without hair in the bath tub drain, a sticker of some kind stuck to the tub ( i could rub it off with my finger, a dirty sink, a broken lamp, a dirty brown lamp, and a leaking sink. We stayed in the room with the leaking sink and the broken lamp. The executive manager was annoyed by the fact she was "running out of rooms." Watching her pull hair out of drains with a glove and a clorox wipe was not how i wanted to start my trip. This was a surprise trip for my boyfriend. nothing special by the hotel for him. I was not offered a discount due to our inconvenience. We will never stay here again. The general manager is wonderful as well as the receptionist Ashley. I was disgusted by the amount of money i paid for 1 room for 2 nights and another room for 1 night to have this happen. i was embarrassed our guests who came up on the second night would have a room like ours. Their room smelled clean. Our room was covered in dust in the closet and the curtains.

We have had a shift in our housekeeping team, that we have been working on, and I am sorry to hear that this effected your stay. We want all of our guests to feel safe and comfortable in our hotel, now more than ever, and I am sorry we missed the mark for you. I hope that you give us another chance in the future.

The hotel itself was beautiful and wonderfully kept, the maintenance guy was also very prompt and polite with the small issue we had, but almost everyone working the front desk was RUDE. They were short with not only us but other customers we observed. And none of us (the customers) were impolite or rude in any way. We were also given 2 complimentary drink tickets per night which was wonderful, but we couldn’t use the ones for Sunday because the bar was closed, so what was the point in giving them to us? Lastly, we weren’t allowed to buy anything from the market with cash or any cards, things could only be charged to the room? Which I thought was odd, but whatever I guess they didn’t want my money that bad then. Overall just disappointed with the customer service from the front desk. You’d think they’d be nicer or more helpful considering they work in the hospitality business..

It seems you stayed while we had a couple of teams in house, and we are sorry the elevator took sometime, but very glad that you enjoyed our hot breakfast being back!

Initially we liked the appearance of the hotel, but certainly ended up having difficulties. We had ants in our bathroom (no where near any food), which led us to switch rooms mid-stay. The ceiling in the bathroom for our next room leaked water on us. The phones did not work in our room. We did not have two TV remotes for the 2 TVs. There are only two elevators for this large hotel and one was out of service for the 5 days were were there, leading to long waits. This is minor, but the breakfast each morning was exactly the same 5 items, which after 5 days gets pretty old.

Things do occasionally happen, but for all of these issues to arise during one stay with us is very disheartening. If there is something I may do to make this right for you, I'd be happy to chat with you about options. I do appreciate your feedback about the breakfast. Coming out of the pandemic, we are bringing things back slowly, and learning as we go. Hopefully, if you come back and visit us again soon, you'll be happier with the options we are now able to provide, as we work to bring back our cooked to order extravagance we all know and love.

When reservations are made through a third party, every now and then our systems do not communicate properly. We were ale to get you into the hotel room, and were not doubting your word that you had a reservation, more trying to make sure that your promised room, rate, and appropriate prepayments were applied. We do understand this is an inconvenience for you, when all you want to do is check into your room, and apologize for that trial. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
