The problem i had is that my flight got in earlier and i call the the hotel and ask for early check in i was told too come at three i arrived at 3:30 p.m the room was not ready never got my romm until 4:35 p.m .The bed in the room was very nosey. Other than that the place is great i am hoping to be back in February at this hotel.

Beautiful beach and pool, disappointing hotel

We found the staff unhelpful, and actually rude. The rooms were nice sized but really quite run down. The bed was old, thin pillows which smelled of mildew, and shabby bedding. Cracked old tile in the bathroom. What saved our short stay was a lovely pool and very beautiful beach. The location is good for experiencing the "Gap" with it'd party scene, but the beach, while lovely, had much rougher surf than other places on the island that we have stayed before.

Clean, close to the beach with the tiki bar serving good food

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: No free Internet
Nice pool. Good activities for kids with basketball court, videos etc. On premise store is very convenient. Check that your shower works ok before you settle into the room. Overall a great place and location.

Great Last Minute Decision

We booked our trip at the last minute and were very happy at Divi Southwinds. The location (beachfront, close to the Gap restaurants) is amazing. The room was a little run down but you can live with it for the view. The staff is very friendly. Island time is in effect so the late openings for the activities center, restaurants, etc took me by surprise. The new AA direct flight from Dallas arrives at 9pm so by the time you reach the hotel EVERYTHING is closed. Next time we will plan for that and bring food.

great place, south shore is the best

we did not expect such great conditions for the money that we paid, it was outrageous, nice staff, clean, great location(location, location), free breakfeast. Bring your wine and vodka with you( since it is so overpriced on this island -if you are able to to drink it, it is so hot!!!) such a nice cats around, claimed to be a "divi cats" give them a little treat and you would feel a a hero!!
