I did not get to see the property. I booked a hotel room for Gander not St John's - these two cities are several hundred KM apart! You would not change or cancel the reservation - not could I speak to anyone at the hotel.

Dear Anonymous, I am sorry to hear that you had trouble with your reservation. It is difficult for me to research this reservation with no details. When reservations are made through 3rd party booking sites, the hotel is not able to make any amendements. Any changes or cancellations must go through the booking site. we enjoyed our stay and will return next year with our whole family. we told them about how friendly the staff are, the excellent breakfasts and the closeness to eateries and shopping mall. we can't find any thing negative about this hotel. travelosity allowed me to cancel my last night without penalty because I was called back to work. we are very happy with our stay.

Awesome hotel for children

Pros: My son thoroughly enjoyed the pool & waterslide My husband loved the room comfort & cleanliness. I loved the fabulous breakfast and the helpful staff
Cons: Everything was great
Location: On Kenmount Road in St. Johns close to the Avalon Mall
I booked the hotel online and unaware to me the room booked only had a shower. My husband has a disability and is unable to stand in a shower so we needed a tub. The hotel staff went above & beyond to help us

Highly recommended.

Location: The hotel is located about 10 mins easy drive from downtown. Quite practical w Avalon mall, parks, stores, coffeeshops etc. nearby.
We stayed for a week in early October and had a very pleasant stay indeed. The location suited us perfectly, we were here on business with a couple of vacation days, and the hotel suited both needs very well. Our suite was comfy and clean, and the staff accommodated our request for a quiet room. The free wifi was excellent and very easy to connect to. The bathroom vanity area, wardrobe and coffee area were a bit small, but we got by. Good, well-kept facilities, down to the pool with water slide, gym, and fireplace in the lobby. Breakfast was included, and the warm selections varied a little every day; there was also a gluten-free area set up. Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly, helpful, effective, and it was lovely to be greeted upon arrival (about 2am) with warmth and friendliness, and the offer of a warm beverage and a little fruit. Upon asking, we were directed to a couple of restaurants downtown that we very much enjoyed eating at. Housekeeping was great, the room was kept immaculate and toiletries and coffee etc were topped up. We'd definitely stay here next time we visit! Weekends appear to be busy here, with out-of-town families visiting. Lots of parking available.
