Loved the place. Easy to get to from Market Street to catch the bus line. Was quiet even though it’s next to a street, even had our windows open at night. Staff is very friendly and willing to answer questions. Had 1 problem while we were there with a backed up toilet but maintenance took care of it right away. We would stay here again if we go back to SF. Only issue was the homeless but that’s not the hotels fault but they do their part to keep you safe by locking the doors between certain hours

The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from all directions. Very hard to sleep. There is no amenities. You have to walk across a busy street to get to the amenities at a sister facility. No kid friendly TV. Housekeeping is nice but room is dusty. Promised a balcony and go a ledge without railings that I wouldn’t put a cat on. Parking cost is ridiculous at $45/night a d should be included in room price. Front desk staff is rude and not very helpful. This facility is not worth the money they cost.

Nice hotel

I enjoyed my stay the room was a good size, nicely decorated, bed quite comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. the amenitors were minimal small coffer pot with coffee and air conditioning that's it.There is no restaurant or bar but we did have acess to the Best Western across the streeI .A continental breakfast was includded across the street. Only a 10 minute walk to Union Square. I would recommend a small refrigerator in each room.I would stay there again.

Very inexpensive, sketchy neighborhood, but good value

Pros: value
Cons: No free Internet
The hotel is a few blocks off of the I-280 7th St. exit and a few blocks from the Tenderloin. Thus, do not expect a terrific neighborhood. However, it was not bad. The neighborhood was not too dangerous. My room was in the back, so street noise was not much of a problem. Easy to get to: 3 blocks from the Civic Center BART station. A tremendous value for money. Only problem was I was probably the first person to get up the day I left, so it took about 20 minutes for the hot water to get hot. No problems the other days. Oh - The "free internet" was beyond useless. When I've got a sketchy Internet connection, I check it against the ICSI Netalyzer. The connection was so bad the test could not complete. I ended up using my iPad's personal hotspot. Good Verizon coverage ;-)

Only as a last resort

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: Noisy, inconsiderate staff, tiny room, expensive parking
What a horrible experience. Front desk staff extremely unorganized. We were in town for a marathon. Received a phone call from the front desk at 10:40pm. Woke us from a dead sleep to ask if we had parked a car in the garage which they knew we had since it was on the registration form we filled out on arrival. Then they had the NERVE to ask if I would come down to put a stupid sticker on the rental car to indicate we were registered guests. We specifically asked the front desk if we needed to put anything on the car on our arrival and they said NO. We had been in and out of our room since 1:30pm and no one called until after 10:30p. We had to be up at 5am and they forced us to check out early since we would not be back from the race until after normal check out hours. Not very accommodating and very inconsiderate. The rooms are tiny and stuffy. Stay here as a last resort if you're looking for a room within walking distance of Union Square and the Moscone Center.

A nice surprise!

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet, attached parking lot, great beds, clean, smells good!
This was a great hotel, clean, comfy beds, quiet & an attached parking lot, unfortunately it's an extra expense but nice to have quick access to your car. I like not being in the busy tourist area's, so location was good for me. Not cheap, not expensive, will be my "go to" hotel business or pleasure!

Staff was very attentive to needs and requests

Pros: Close restaurants, Quiet
Great location to park your car and see San Francisco by foot. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff did an excellent job in assisting with getting to locations and acknowledge you every time you entered the lobby.

Pleasantly Surprised

I loved the hotel room. It was decorated in kind of a classy, retro theme. The furnishings and decorations were really cool. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and nice. As for breakfast, they have muffins and coffee. As a young professional running out the door in the morning to catch a cab to work, I was fine with this. But if you are looking for a full breakfast, you won't find it here. The location isn't the best, but I think for the price, it works. Before you stay here, research the location. It is on the cusp of what is known as "The Tenderloin". I didn't see a security guard, but I was also not out late. Your keycard is required to enter the elevators. I was by myself, and I felt pretty safe.
