Room 101. Upgraded to this room prior to check in. Room had a great view however it was obvious that they were not very clean as there was hair still on the bathroom floor from previous guests. Also the shower door was missing and if you ran the shower on high, the water would not drain fast enough. I had to use a towel on the floor so it would not flood the room and basically dam up the water. The WiFi did not work which added a significant cost to the stay because I had to keep adding data to my hotspot to work each day from my room. I did call the front desk on numerous occasions (4) about the 1. Drain issues 2. Missing shower door, and 3. No WiFi or internet but they were never addressed. I was originally told it was an issue with my phone not connecting - but that is not the case as I had no issues anywhere else - this was an obvious cop out. I was also disappointed about their mask and sanitizer policy as when you walked in from the main entrance you did have to get temp and sanitizer every time, but was never checked when walking in to the resort from the Malecon. They also say only 6 people allowed in the hot tub at a time but it was not enforced as it regularly had 13 or more crammed in it. Lastly - construction is going on at the restaurant on the premise and of course this room is the closest to the construction noise. Bellmen always very nice and helpful - wish issues would have been addressed as promised. WiFi cost me a lot to keep adding!

The room was not what we expected. Pictures of hotel are not like the actual place. Misleading. Staff was rude and not very friendly. Good location but that was it. Will not recomend it

When we checked in we were put in to room 227 which was a mildew box in the back of the hotel with no opening of windows. Probably the worst room in the hotel for budget or discount travelers. They gave us a standard room overlooking the pool 2 days later, but I felt like my short vacation started off terribly. The staff were very sweet, but the hotel is old. The pool was nice.
