I would not recommend staying here. The hotel and grounds and our room were very dated. I read the same thing in other reviews so we spend a little extra to stay in the “Adobe Fairway” room. The shower leaked and flooded the bathroom floor every time we took a shower. We would use all our clean towels to clean up the floor each time we showered. We didn’t even go in the back closet area which was kind of gross. The room smelled musty to the point our clothes stunk when we got home. We paid $190 each night for the room for a total of $570 when we booked the room a week earlier. A day after we checked out there was a $116 charge on my credit card. I called and spoke to Lisa. She said the charge was for internet and the fitness room. She justified the charge by insisting that all resorts do this. I’ve stayed at a lot of resorts and hotels and I’ve never incurred additional fees after I’ve already paid and checked out. If you think about, there is no valid reason to charge a separate fee after a guest leaves. Other than to be deceptive about the actual charges. I would maybe play golf here again, but I would never stay here again. There are plenty of nicer places to stay in the Phoenix area that are a much better bargain. Don’t stay at the Wigwam.

The charge you are referencing in your feedback is our daily resort charge that includes a variety of benefits that include (but are not limited to) access to our fitness room and premium Wi-Fi internet. We have shared your entire review with our entire Management Team to follow up on any outstanding issues and we hope that you will reconsider and give us a chance to restore your trust with a much more authentic Wigwam experience in the future.
