my daughter and I were thoroughly impressed with the Comfort Inn

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
bed was extremely comfortable. I hated to have to come home

The beds are so thin and uncomfortable. Could not get comfortable in any position. My back aches so bad the next day. The bathtub wasn’t cleaned. Hair and dirt all over it. The TV had snow on all the channels like an TV in the 70’s. The ice machine was broken. The place smells of weed. Would recommend sleeping in a tent before sleeping here!

Always friendly

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the last 5 years on our way from Michigan to visit our kids in Vermont. We found the staff always friendly and helpful. We always thought that Port Hope was aptly named after the tortuous trip through Toronto. Rooms are clean and neat, the free continental breakfast has enough choices for most appetites. It is kid-friendly and safe. Internet access is free, and there is also an exercise room. Security staff were present and helpful. Price very competitive. Thank you to all the staff who made our visits a pleasure.

Would look for a different place to stay.

The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. It appeared to be a fairly new facility. The carpet was grungy and in need of a good vacuuming around the edges. There was a dead bug inside one of the pictures on the wall. They ran out of coffee at the included breakfast. We heard semis all night pulling in and out of the nearby establishment. Would look for a different place to stay if ever back in the area.
