Nicely decored, clean hotel with reasonable value
Pros:Decor, cleanliness, free parking, space, offer of free breakfast.
Cons:Drinks in the breakfast area, shower, lower price for double bed room.
Location:Quiet area, not much to do in immediate vicinity.
Pleasant experience - staff is courteous, rooms have all been updated so you are treated to nice flooring, lighting, and a well finished/manicured bathroom. Room is spacious and inviting.
Breakfast area is in the basement and has not been updated like the rest of the building (looks older). Breakfast itself is basic - cereal, bread, croissants, boiled eggs, apples, and bananas. Juices and coffee are low quality.
Overall, a reasonable value considering the quality of the room. A few things detract from the value - you have to drive to reach downtown Ottawa - not a far distance (about 4 km) but the hotel is located in a quiet, but thankfully safe and well-lit, area of Gatineau. Double beds are a bit small. Shower head is mounted low and does not have a lot of pressure.

Personnel courtois, chambre très correcte, je n'ai pas pu profiter du déjeuner étant donné mon alimentation cétogène, mais j'ai vu les assiettes des autres clients, je dirais que ça me semble bien pour un petit déjeuner rapide. Très bien situé pour ce que je venais faire dans la région (j'étais à 2 minutes de mon lieu de travail). Pas de bruit, mais vue la situation COVID19, j'imagine que le nombre de clients ne devait pas être élevé, le stationnement n'avait que quelques véhicules, malgré les vacances. Je recommande l'emplacement, sauf si vous avez des goûts de princesse, il faudra vérifier s'il y a des chambres plus "premium", j'avais une chambre vraiment de base (à ma demande), mais ça me suffit et devrait suffire à n'importe qui qui cherche une chambre pas trop chère.
