We stayed at the Butterfly after coming off of our cruise. Though we did not spend the night (waiting for our flight) our room was very nice. The bathrooms were nicely upgraded and the room was very spacious and clean. I will definitely plan an extended stay at the Butterfly! The gentleman at the front desk was so accommodating. He upgraded our room and arranged a taxi for us when we needed to leave for the airport. The fish tacos at the beachfront restaurant were delicious!!
The only suggestions that I would make is to put more water in the 3 hot tubs. They were a bit shallow. Also, a few more umbrellas would be helpful. The sun can be quite hot.

When I arrived at the hotel after a long connecting flight, I checked into my room to find a television smaller than my computer monitor, When I went to the bathroom to take a shower I found only a hand towel and a bath towel-no wash cloths. The shower and sink had poor water pressure. I purchased 2 wash cloths from a nearby store, afterwards I found out you have to ask for wash cloths. Maybe this is common or a tradition among the people that live here. Then I had a few meals here at their restaurant. I asked my server for lemonade, he gave me Sprite instead of lemonade( I think there is a difference ). I also inquired about free refills for soft drinks, the server said no free refills. The way he said it sounded like maybe I shouldn't have asked in the first place. By the way this property needs updating, the lone elevator went out of service several times during my stay. I dined at a restaurant away from the hotel, I ordered fried shrimp. The server offered me side dish of fries or their version of a twice baked potato, I ordered the twice baked potato, when I received my meal along with my friends I didn't realize he gave all of us fries. I was hungry and didn't send it back, I didn't think it was a big deal. Afterward I thought about the server who gave me sprite instead of lemonade.

Thank you for your review. We are always looking for ways in which we can improve and we do appreciate your feedback. Most of our guests do refer to Sprite as Lemonade but we will make remind our Servers to clarify what guests may be ordering each time. I am sorry wash cloths were not requested as we are happy to provide on a request basis. Soft Drink refills or any drink refills is definitely not limited to just our hotel that would be an island wide situation and not something that is offered in Barbados I am afraid. I am sorry that this was not relayed Professionally. WE hope that you did get out and about in Barbados and did a little exploring and enjoyed your time on our beautiful Island.
Again we appreciate the feedback as we strive to be the best we can be at all times.
