Freezing stone floors in room, very small and under-equipped gym (7a-7p only), a huge bathtub (almost impossible to reach across to the stopper) that it should be illegal to fill in California. Lovely service and nightly turndown, a comfortable bed. But for $800 a night??!!

We were greeted by Kevin who was very accommodating and a wine tasting right in the lobby! Our room was generous and comfortable with a King bed, refrigerator, coffeemaker, water bottles and apples, a fireplace and a naturally bright bathroom with nice amenities. The almost full breakfast was delicious ...

Napa Valley, a wine lover's dream, is home to over 400 vineyards situated among picturesque hills and sunny California weather. The siren call of the Napa vineyards has created a hub of food, drink, and relaxation. When you book Napa Valley resorts or hotels near Napa Valley, you put yourself within arms reach of stunning spas, golf courses, and outdoor adventure.
You will find wine is the star of the Napa Valley and its many activities. Naturally, you can take tours of vineyards, but you're not limited to simply seeing, swirling, and sipping. There are standard tours for biking on the vineyard or admiring impressive art collections, and there are also chauffeured tours that let you explore several vineyards in style. You'll find the views from Napa Valley hotels breath-taking, but if you want a change of perspective, head out on a hot air balloon ride. Check out shopping on Main Street in St. Helena, bird watch at the Napa River Ecological Reserve in Yountville, or saddle up for horseback riding at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park to get the full Napa experience, before and after the wining and dining.
Napa Valley resorts serve up delicious cuisine, but make sure to get out and explore areas with serious picnicking potential. You can have a sumptuous lunch packed by one of the vineyards or restaurants that offer picnic lunches complete with wine pairings. The cities and towns in the Napa Valley take fresh, farm-to-table food so seriously that some of them have outlawed fast-food franchises. To get a table at any of the most renowned restaurants, make your reservations while booking hotels in Napa Valley; this is the best bet to ensure you get a seat.
