The hotel staff was excellent! They were attentive and helpful in a manner that was not annoying--and provided terrific advice for our vacation.
Great location and pool restaurant good and restaurant staff excellent Pool not heated Reception desk people a bit aggressive and pushed us thru really fast - but they may be tired as it is end of season
The receptionist tried to sell the hotel shuttle on the way back to the ferry port. It cost three times more expensive than taxi. I requested the receptionist to reserve a taxi for us three times: the day before, in the morning and 30 min before we left. She didn’t call the taxi until we checked ...

A 33-square-mile island in the heart of the Cyclades, Mykonos in Greece is a destination rich in ancient history and simple pleasures. Find Mykonos vacation packages and walk in the mythical footsteps of the grandson of Apollo, for whom the island was named, as well as ancient Venetians, turn-of-the-century archaeologists, and today's tourists.
Find hotels in Mykonos and enjoy wandering among Chora's whitewashed buildings, typical Greek-style cubes, and domes draped with bright bougainvillea. Other architectural landmarks of interest are the straw-roofed, cylindrical windmills dotted over the island, put there in the 16th century for milling flour. Kato Milli, a row of sea-facing windmills just south of Chora is particularly well-preserved and a top tourist attraction. Also see colorful mansions with balconies hanging over the sea in a particularly picturesque part of Mykonos known as Little Venice. History buffs are tempted out of Mykonos hotels by the Archaeological Museum of Mykonos, one of the oldest museums in Greece, and the Aegean Maritime Museum, with restored historical ships and nautical artifacts. Then, soak up the sun on the busy beaches of the southern coast. Northern coast beaches offer more solitude and are the best places to try windsurfing or surfing. Diving and snorkeling excursions, as well as boat trips to the nearby archaeologically rich island of Delos are also available.
The most glamorous restaurants on Mykonos are along Matoyanni Street in Chora. The waterfront cafes of Little Venice also offer a special setting. Fresh fish naturally features on most menus, as does pork. Try Aegean specialties, including Mykonos's signature kopanisti, a tangy, peppery goat's milk cheese. Local sausages are heavily seasoned with oregano and pepper. Sample local sweets like amigdalota, made from ground almonds and fragrant rosewater, or a traditional honey pie. For a drink after dinner, head to the bars and nightclubs of Paradise beach.
