We liked the proximity to the center of town After my initial impressions of the hotel were expressed on Travelocity a letter was placed the next day in my room while we were out. It said “Please contact reception in case you would like to change your rooms”. When I asked reception why I had received this letter they said, initially, that it was based on my Travelocity check-in impressions and later another front reception staff member stated that it was to do with unhappiness about my bathroom. I NEVER expressed disappointment with the bathroom. All I stated was that there was a lot of noise overnight outside my room (1st floor). I thought it was construction or cars leaving the car park ramp but later discovered that may room was directly above the hotels large trash bins which were wheeled in and out at various times. The hotel offered to move me up 4 floors to a similar size room but I choose to stay where I was as 2 nights were over already and I only had 2 nights left. Some other issues were: Very low WiFi in my room so I had to at times go to the hotel lobby to get a better signal. Reception stated that they were similar issues with other rooms. No control of room thermostat and temperature. Reception informed me that the only way to cool the room was to open the window (January??? Outside noise???). I had to open the window 3 nights of the 4 I stayed and could not even turn off the thermostat. On our 3rd morning, Saturday January 4th nobody

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience occurred during your stay due to the noise caused from the daily waste removal in the street. This is why, after your first impression received via Travelocity, we tried to contact you to suggest and propose a room move to an higher floor for the next days. I’m also sorry that you found the room too warm. Our rooms do have individual temperature controls for our guests complete comfort where you can adjust your room temperature or switch the thermostat off. In any case our Front Desk Staff is available any time in case of need. At the end I want to assure you that we are verifying with our IT manager the WIFI signal near you rooms in order to improve the quality of this service. Please be sure that our guests are very valuable to us and I personally apologize if you may have not have felt that way We really hope that these inconvenience didn’t completely spoil your stay with us and we are looking forward to welcoming you back soon!
