I’ve stayed at 4 different all inclusive resorts in Cabo now. This resort was pleasant. The staff was friendly but no one ever called me by my name as others have at different resorts. This resort has a lot of people and staff so I didn’t care that they didn’t remember or even ask my name. We were there for a wedding which the staff did a fantastic job prepping for and catering to everyone’s needs. Clearly they have handled many weddings. We spent most evenings in town so we really never partook in any of the nightly entertainment festivities. The gym is very small. That was the only real knock I have of the property. The rooms were clean as was the rest of the resort. The food at the buffet was overall good within some things I didn’t like but most was fine. We had went fishing and caught Marlin and wahoo and brought some of the wahoo back to the resort and the chefs were happy to cook it for us and did a fantastic job. Uber rides into town were about $5 each way which wasn’t bad. The rooms and the 24hr lounge had bottles of booze mounted on the wall and the fridges were always stocked so that was pleasantly different than the other resorts we’ve stayed at. The RIU Santa Fe is next door and a sister property so you can use their facilities. My wife used their gym and said it was bigger but was busy. I’d stay again

Entire stay was wonderful. Entire staff very very nice and friendly. Chefs Saul and Abraham took special care of us as we have dietary restrictions. CRM Ivanna was amazing . Would love to come back again .

This resort is very family oriented. The main pools are full of small children and The adult pools are a bit boring and mostly older people. The good thing is you can go to Santa Fe and use their adult pools which are more lively and also the big pool parties and “night club”. The restaurants and buffets are decent. Reception staff are not that friendly, some of us didn’t get explained where the rooms were or given a map or told where to find the restaurants etc. restaurant and housekeeping staff are very friendly but some bartenders are not. The hotel feels quite cramped and full of hallways and feel like everything shuts down early, but has beautiful views from the different levels bars and restaurants. Overall had a great time but Might stay at Santa Fe next time as it felt more open, more pools, more options and different vibe etc.

The staff made my whole experience. They were friendly and helpful all the time. The property is so clean and so neatly kept. I love the buffets. The pool was nice and the view even more breathtaking. I love the fact that I can utilize the other sister hotels And everything is a walking distance and it’s super close to the marina. There’s always a taxi or Uber is there immediately. Everybody’s always willing to help in a timely manner.

Ocean, dining, pools, cleanliness, staff. Didn't like noisy carts wheeling all night in hallways doing room service. No sleep. That needs to stop. Leave buffet open 24 hours for people to get their food themselves. Outdated rooms but not bad.

My family were there for 6 days and had the best experience so far in regards to cleanliness and customer service. The hiring team did a great job hiring the cleaning staff and the servers. They were so respectful and hospitality was top. Had a peaceful and restful time there. The food was fresh and good. The pools were amazing. Perfect for all!

All the staff, bartenders, servers, check in desk...everyone was welcoming and amazing!! They made sure all our needs were taken care of & it made the trip relaxing and memorable! The food is outstanding....especially breakfast!!! Fresh and lots of options. They don't take reservations so it was nice to not have to worry about beating a rush to get in. It wasn't a problem getting into any of the restaurants that we chose at night. Grounds are very clean and beautiful. This was our 6th time in Cabo but our 1st at Rio Palace. We definitely will come back & stay here again!!!

Nice property. Staff are excellent & go above & beyond. Lots of steps/stairs to get to anything. Food is ok, not terrible but not amazing. Love the openness of the whole place. Rooms are nice but I didn’t like the double beds pushed together. Would come here again.
