Upon arriving at the resort, the room was not available prior to 4pm. We arrived at 12pm, We had to wait almost 4 hours.... The other front desk team had a very pushy "time share" sales people. To me, was a very annoying thing being pushed to deal with a sales person right after a long trip, I had to explain several times to the same person "NO" we are not interested in signing up to do a time share, I just want to check in to my room and take a shower! I wish they would stop that to new guests. The resort itself was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly.

I love Grand Solmar! This was my second time staying here and it was incredible. They treat you like a Queen. The spa was so great that I ended up going twice during my stay! The views are amazing. The best part was relaxing at the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and having Israel wait on us. Israel was an absolute delight! He waited on us several days and already knew our orders. Overall, best relaxing trip ever!

Great location, quiet and very relaxing. This was our first stay and we really enjoyed it. The restaurants are very good and the pool areas are relaxing.

Beautiful location and facilities. There is some confusion though. We thought it was all inclusive based on the classification on the Expedia/Travelocity, but it's NOT ALL INCLUSIVE!!!! They do offer a meal plan for $140/per person/per day with a 3-day minimum, which we bought for 3 days that added $840 to our cost. This was unexpected, so that's a negative. The meal plan was worth it for the days we stayed at the resort, eating and having drinks by the pool. The restaurants are excellent, but limited (only 3-4 on site - the others are at sister-resorts off-site). La Roca was on-site and the best food we had in Cabo. We also at at El Farollean, which is highly rated, and I thought it was ok, but not as good as La Roca (but it does have the best oceanside view in Cabo - awesome location). The beach was beautiful, but the ocean is rough so no swimming in the ocean is allowed (I prefer swimming in the pool anyway) so this was not a problem for me. Beautiful views, great staff, and wonderful resort. They do have any army of salespeople selling timeshares, but they only sell to volunteers (you can volunteer in exchange for excursions/activities or food/beverage credits ask for more than they offer- it's a good 3 hour, persuasive sales pitch with multiple offers, so be warned - I thought it was ok and took their credits).

Nice oceanfront hotel

Pros: Great location!lots of activities to do within the resort,but if you want a quiet time in your room,you can do it and not hear the busy fun activities
Cons: More vegan dishes on the menu
We attended a wedding destination held at Grand Solmar resort.Wonderful views,amenities and food!!services were excellent and we felt very safe anywhere. One has to take a water taxi to go to the "Lover's'" beach where one can swim.

Great resort and spa

Pros: Beautiful room with kitchen, 2 baths , Murphy bed and nice balcony. Beautiful pools and wonderful food. Spa is wonderful.
Location: Good location close to marina where you can do different activities and local restaurants
We had a fantastic time at Grand Solmar Resort. Very friendly staff who do out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We look forward to going back.
