"This was a very spacious and clean 2 bedroom apartment. There was also 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. It was so nice to have loads of space an easy drive to the ferry. There is a great food market and coffee shop below the apartment!"

"Kristin and Alex have definitely earned themselves recurring guests after our stay. Their tiny home was fully equipped with everything you would need for a vacation home. From the welcoming crew of chickens and ducks, to the greeting card congratulating us on our anniversary and the homemade cider left in the fridge - we loved the whole experience at Frolander Bay Resort! Kristin was also very prompt whenever I reached out with questions. Now, after being back home for a few days, we are still raving about our stay and have recommended their resort to friends and family. Already looking forward to our next stay!"

"We live on a nearby island. This is the perfect place to stay when we want to spend the night on the mainland. Conveniently located within a block of Townsite Brewery, Townsite market and the historic Patrica Theatre. "

"You gotta stay here! This boutique hotel is something else. It’s like being transported back in time. It reminds me of walking through the ‘old town’ portion of the Royal BC museum but instead you get to spend the night! All the antiques and decor .. so many neat things to look at. Such a unique experience. Now onto the owner … what a lovely human being! From the moment we arrived (early I might add) we were treated like valued guests. We had a couple of rooms to choose from, so he suggested we have a look at each one and choose what suited us best. My biggest pet peeve in hotels … different tv remotes and trying to figure them out. Not here! The owner personally showed us all the features of the room including how to operate the Apple TV. I can honestly say I’ve only received this level of personal service before when I stayed at a small hotel in Kyoto, Japan. The cafe on main floor is open to 1pm, we both had different eggs Benny .. homemade and delish. There was an absolutely lovely lady working there as well. And … breakfast at cafe is included in your stay. Can’t say enough about this place, I’ve been absolutely tickled by it since the moment we arrived. Will definitely be back!! "
