Located in East Bay, Fremont is one of the larger cities within the Bay Area. While it does have a sprawling suburban area, Fremont also boasts cool cultural attractions, outdoor recreation, lots of shopping, and a diverse and welcoming population. Offering a break from the busy streets of San Francisco and Oakland, Freemont, California, is more than worth a visit. Just be warned: the delicious food may make you want to stay longer.
Folks from far away typically reach Fremont via flights to San Jose. Once you've set your bags down at one of the Fremont hotels, begin your trip by heading to Ardenwood Historic Farm to learn about life in the 1800s and early 1900s. Then, make your way to Coyote Hills Regional Park to hike, picnic, and enjoy views of the Bay. Here you can find some of the best cheap hotels in Fremont CA. That will save you money for shopping at NewPark Mall, watching a screening at the Niles Essanay Silent Film Museum, and buying climbing gear to ascend to the top of Mission Peak. All that sounds like a lot of fun, doesn't it?
Delicious pizza joints, farmers markets selling fresh California produce, and Asian restaurants of all sorts are the headliners when it comes to dining in Fremont. Enjoy Cantonese food in the Pacific Commons complex, have Afghan fare in Centerville, or enjoy Vietnamese cuisine in Walnut Plaza. Order up an import beer as you enjoy dishes from around the world, and smile. You're in Fremont, and the good times are here.
