Individual people who worked at the resort were pleasant but overall they did nothing to accommodate any requests that were made. The resort needs a total overhaul and is nothing like their sister resorts which appeared very nice. Water sports shut down for days due to water conditions but other resorts were open. No shuttle service when the water taxi was not running. Extremely difficult to get dinner reservations at sister resorts and the food at Crystal Cove was not good and service poor. No activities were offered. For a Marriot hotel, this was POOR. Never going back.

I liked the size of the resort, 88 rooms, not too big, not to small. The ocean and beach were fabulous. The wine they served was tasty, loved the Wine bar where they served tapas at 6 pm. The staff was terrific, they cared about you having a good time. Also, they would only allow one or two vendors on the beach so you were not constantly being solicited by vendors. Great stay, it exceeded my expectations.

Was not what I expected for the top dollar price
The front desk host who checked us in was not accommodating to us at all , we were not happy with the location of our room and the response was this is what you paid for, very expensive prices for the hotel and definitely not worth it at all , I usually never voice my opinion on any of our vacations but this one I had to do !

Hotel is ok for couples.
Pros:Free breakfast, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons:Nothing close, rocky beach, little to far from attractions.
Hotel is good for couples who are looking for a quiet place. Food was ok. Inclusive is not like I imagine it to be. They have set time for lunch and dinner and it is basically a sit down dinner and lunch is very limited food at the drifter resturant. Breakfast was a buffet, loved the breakfast. Beach water was too rough, definitely not for kids. One day the waters were calm when we were there. You need water shoes because of rocks. Nothing around the hotel as far as gift shops or local restaurant. But you will find the local “pharmacy” on the corner street if you know what I mean ;). AS I mention hotel ok for quiet couples. Free water sports for guest. Jet ski you have to rent. Many small sugar ants in bathroom but we lived with it. Water pressure was good. I will go back to Barbados but will stay at another hotel.

nice resort but not 4 stars
This is nice resort but I would rate it 3 stars and not more. The service was good but very very slow. Keep in mind that in Barbados there are no private beaches. Security guards were there all the time which makes you feel better. The locals didn’t bother us, they were trying to offer all kinds of stuff to buy. Very nice people, they make you feel very comfortable. The variety of food is very limited if you compare to other all-inclusive resorts, not impressed at all. Birds are eating your food at the restaurant all the time, so don’t leave your plate if you are not at the table. This is a huge discomfort, not to mention hygiene. Kid’s friendly resort I have to say. Yes, we had a nice time, but for that amount of money I would get much better service in other resorts or other islands. If you willing to dine outside of the resort and have a lovely, elegant evening, try “ Cliff” Restaurant ,not far from the resort. Probably 5 min drive by taxi. It is very expensive but you will absolutely enjoy it. If you see a monkey running around at the resort, especially early morning don’t be alarmed or surprised. They come to get mango's from the trees . Overall not bad, but I don’t think I would stay again, at least not for the money I paid.
p.s. Locals love to get into water and eat mango while they cool off. As they said, the salty water gives a better flavor to sweet mango….Enjoy!

I have had one of the best vacations in the carribbean that i've ever been on
Pros:Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
I have traveled all over the world practically, this was my first time ever traveling down to barbados and i have to say,me and my girlfriend wanted to just get away from all our problems,hurricanes, and just ever day of life. We had a time of our lives, we've been to aruba, cancun, peurto rico, all the virgin islands,nassau, and pretty much all of mexico.This was the best vacation that i've ever experienced.the entertainment and atmosphere was outstanding.This was my first time ever doing a vacation all enclusive.The sunsets from our balcony each day is breath taking,I asked my girlfriend on the beach to marry me.The atmosphere couldn't have been any better.I strongly reccommed crystal cove

Crystal Cove
I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Crystal Cove. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful, the three pools are wonderful, and the beach is breath-taking. I can not say enough great things about the hotel and my stay there. The drinks were good, the food was good, and the whole vacations was great!!!!! I recommend this hotel highly!

Wonderful time at Crystal Cove
My husband and I just returned from our 6 night stay at Crystal Cove. We were sad to leave and look forward to going back again. We loved the room, the garden/ocean view, food, service and the beach. We really wanted to kick back and relax during our trip and this place was great for that. We did take advantage of the gym, tennis courts and some of the water sports too. We definitely recommend Crystal Cove to those considering a trip to Barbados.

WONDERFUL!
upon arrival our room was not ready, this was because the people "checked out" and left all their things still in the room, but we were asked to sit in reception (which has the most amazing view) feed room service at the pool and served rum punch which made up for it all!! the rooms was beyond great, the beach beautiful and clean, the water sports are typical but the staff makes it worth it. the staff is great. friendly and very knowledgeable about everything! the food for breakfast was standard, but dinner was wonderful!! great selection, beautiful presentation, and tasted like a 4 star restaurant. we will definitely be staying here again!
