SAS makes it difficult for Canadian residents to get a boarding pass. App cannot be downloaded by Canadians, and SAS requires data to send mobile boarding pass by SMS. I don't always have data abroad, and could not get the app. It should offer option of getting it by email.

How to get through airport security fast when traveling to Copenhagen

Make your journey to Copenhagen a little easier by reading over these practical security tips:

  • Be sure you know the location of your boarding pass and travel ID. You don't want to hold up the line when you're asked to present them.
  • You'll need to stop the music for a few minutes. Headphones and earphones need to be taken off and put in a bin for X-raying. The same goes for items such as coins and keys.
  • Laptops, digital cameras and other electronic devices must be placed in separate bins to be X-rayed.
  • Traveling with a new cologne or perfume? As long as it's not bigger than 3.4 ounces (161 kilometerslliliters) and it's stored in a clear resealable plastic bag, you can keep it with you in your hand luggage.
  • Give some thought to your choice of footwear. Slippers are great because they're super easy to take off when you're at the security checkpoint. Try wearing a pair on your next journey!
  • The list of non-permissible items is forever changing. Have a look at your carrier's official website for what is not allowed on board their aircraft.
