Felt very unwelcome , very poor service
I don’t know what is because of COVID or regular service but it was very disappointing. There was absolutely no bell man or someone to help welcome and assist in baggage, it was very strange. An easy solution is them wearing a mask and gloves like the other employees. I also got an email before my stay stating the restaurant is open with 6 feet and sanitation etc and was told when I checked in that, no, that’s next week. Then don’t send me the information and get my hopes up! I was there to get my French citizenship, and was delighted I may be able to actually sit at a table and toast. There was also no food available at lunch time. It was either breakfast till 11 or dinner at 5. We didn’t know what to do. Where do we go, all stores and restaurants were boarded up. If we have to eat in the room, at the hotel, at least have the courtesy of serving food during the day. It was crazy for a 4 star hotel to not help customers by providing food at daytime. Overall we felt very unwelcome. Perhaps things are better in different circumstances but overall we will not return.
