"Has the potential to be great, but between the guest rooms and the lobby... it's as if they are 2 different hotels. The public areas are lovely and the staff throughout our stay were absolutely wonderful. The rooms and guest hallways are another story. The guestroom doors are damaged and splintered, carpet is worn through and coming up. Questionable white stain on the dark brown loveseat in our room, stains on the curtains, paint is peeling, bathroom is well past its prime with dirty, chipped grout and stains in the tub. Bathroom and kitchenette amenities like lotion and dish soap were missing but quickly corrected by staff. Certain parking access is closed due to the pandemic and the stairwell that remains open is absolutely filthy. I used a Lysol wipe to hold on to the railing which was completely black afterwards...not sure that this area is cleaned or monitored at all. We paid a discounted rate through Travelocity - maybe other rooms are not as bad. Had I known ahead of time I would have paid the $80/night more to stay at the property across the street instead. Our stay was due to access to St. Paul's hospital and we couldn't have been closer, which was fantastic. There are many amenities and fantastic restaurant options all within walking distance. Unfortunately for us we will likely pay the extra and stay across the street next time."
